Elite — Signal Types & Grading
Elite signals are generated when multiple confluences align across pattern detection, momentum, structure, and multi-timeframe bias. Every signal is graded A+ through F based on the NQ 9-factor confluence score.
NQ Confluence Factors (9 Factors)
1.Trend Alignment: Is price trading with or against the dominant trend on the current and higher timeframes?
2.Momentum: Is RSI and momentum confirming the signal direction?
3.Volume: Is there above-average volume supporting the move?
4.Market Structure: Is price respecting key swing highs/lows and structure breaks?
5.MTF Confirmation: Do H4, Daily, and Weekly timeframes agree with the signal direction?
6.Pattern Quality: Is the detected pattern clean, well-formed, and at a key level?
7.Volatility Context: Is ATR volatility appropriate for the setup (not too high, not too low)?
8.Support/Resistance: Is the signal firing at or near a significant S/R level?
9.Candlestick Confirmation: Does the closing candle structure confirm the trade direction?
Grade Scale
A+
Highest conviction. All confluences align.
A
Very strong. Most factors confirmed.
B
Good setup. Minor gaps in confluence.
C
Acceptable. Use tighter risk.
D/F
Weak signal. Avoid or skip.
4
Elite — Timeframes & Best Practices
QGA Elite is calibrated for H1, H4, Daily, and Weekly charts. These timeframes provide the best balance of signal frequency and quality for swing and position trading.
H1 (1 Hour)
Best for: Intraday swing entries, fine-tuning entry timing
Hold time: Short-term swings, 1–3 day holds
H4 (4 Hour)
Best for: Core swing trading, trend following
Hold time: Multi-day swings, 3–7 day holds
Daily
Best for: Position trading, high-conviction setups
Hold time: Week to multi-week holds
Weekly
Best for: Macro bias confirmation, trend filtering
Hold time: Month+ holds or filtering lower TF signals
Best Practices
- Always check higher timeframe bias before entering a trade. A Daily uptrend confirming an H4 buy signal is a strong confluence.
- Prioritize A and A+ grade signals. C grades should be traded with reduced position size.
- Use the 3-tier TP strategy: take partial profits at TP1 (1.5R), more at TP2 (2.5R), and let the remainder run to TP3 (4.0R).
- Respect the pattern failure guardrails — if the indicator flags a trap, do not enter the trade.
- Never risk more than 1–2% of your account on a single signal regardless of grade.
5
Elite — Risk Management
TP1
1.5:1 R:R
First partial exit
TP2
2.5:1 R:R
Second partial exit
TP3
4.0:1 R:R
Final runner target
Position Sizing Formula
Lot Size = Risk Amount ($) / (SL Distance in Pips × Pip Value per Lot)
Example: $10,000 account, 2% risk ($200), 50-pip SL, $10/pip/lot = 0.40 lots
- The position sizing calculator supports 8 currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, CAD, AUD, CHF, NZD.
- Move your stop loss to breakeven after TP1 is hit to eliminate risk.
- Avoid trading A+ signals against a strong opposing Weekly trend.
- Use the Risk Manager dashboard inside the platform to track your open exposure.

7
Scalper — The 4 Signal Tiers
QGA Scalper uses a priority-based tier system. When multiple tiers trigger simultaneously, the highest-priority tier takes precedence. Each tier has a different SL methodology and risk profile.
SCALPER (SAE)Highest Priority
Engulfing candle patterns detected at key microstructure levels — order blocks, fair value gaps, and liquidity zones. Uses the engulfing candle wick as stop loss, giving the tightest SL and best R:R of all tiers.
SL Method: SAE-Tight (Wick-based SL)
Best for: Order block bounces, FVG fills, liquidity sweeps
SNIPERSecond Priority
EMA convergence combined with RSI and Stochastic reversals at key zones. Fires when multiple momentum indicators confirm a reversal at structure. More selective than Classic, tighter than Pattern.
SL Method: SNIPER (ATR-multiplied)
Best for: Momentum reversals at EMA confluences
PATTERN (PPI)Third Priority
Detects 7 candlestick and chart patterns: Pin Bar, Engulfing, Morning Star, Evening Star, Double Top, Double Bottom, and Tweezers. Each pattern has its own structural SL placement.
SL Method: STRUCTURE (Pattern-based SL)
Best for: Pattern-based entries at S/R zones
CLASSICBase / Fallback
EMA crossover signals with trend alignment confirmation. The broadest tier — fires when no higher-priority tier is active. Higher frequency but lower precision. Best used as trend-following confirmation.
SL Method: ATR (Standard)
Best for: Trend-following, ranging markets
8
Scalper — SAE 20-Point Grading System
Every Scalper signal is scored across 8 factors for a maximum of 20 points. The resulting grade determines signal quality and whether the signal should be traded.
3 ptsEMA Bias: Is price above/below key EMAs on the current timeframe?
2 ptsRSI Zone: Is RSI in an oversold (buy) or overbought (sell) zone?
2 ptsStochastic: Is Stochastic confirming the signal direction?
2 ptsVolume: Is volume above average to confirm the move?
3 ptsHigh-Five Alignment: Do all 5 pre-filters (EMA, RSI, Stoch, Volume, Spread) pass?
2 ptsATR Volatility: Is market volatility within optimal range for the timeframe?
3 ptsMulti-TF Trend: Do H1 and H4 timeframe trends agree with signal direction?
3 ptsADX Strength: Is ADX indicating sufficient trend strength (above 20)?
Scalper Grade Scale
Default minimum grade setting is C (8 pts). Recommended for active trading: B or above.

Scalper — Support/Resistance Level Colors
QGA Scalper draws key S/R levels automatically on your chart. Understanding what each color represents helps you identify the strongest areas to trade from.
Gold — Weekly Levels (W-H, W-L)
The most significant institutional levels. Weekly highs and lows attract the largest order flow. Treat bounces from these levels as the highest-probability setups.
Blue — Daily Levels (D-H, D-L)
Daily highs and lows mark where price reversed the prior session. Strong areas for intraday reversals especially during session opens.
Red Shades — Resistance Zones (R1, R2, R3)
Pivot-based resistance levels. Look for SELL signals at R1, R2, and R3 confirmations, especially when SAE/SNIPER tiers align.
Green Shades — Support Zones (S1, S2, S3)
Pivot-based support levels. Look for BUY signals at S1, S2, and S3 when price bounces with a SCALPER or SNIPER tier signal.
11
Lot Size & Position Sizing
Formula
Lot Size = Risk Amount ($) ÷ (SL Distance in Pips × Pip Value per Lot)
Worked Examples
| Account | Risk % | Risk $ | SL (pips) | Pip Value | Lot Size |
|---|
| $5,000 | 1% | $50 | 30 pips | $10/lot | 0.17 lots |
| $10,000 | 1% | $100 | 50 pips | $10/lot | 0.20 lots |
| $10,000 | 2% | $200 | 50 pips | $10/lot | 0.40 lots |
| $25,000 | 1% | $250 | 40 pips | $10/lot | 0.63 lots |
| $50,000 | 2% | $1,000 | 60 pips | $10/lot | 1.67 lots |
- For scalping (5m–15m), professional traders use 1–2% risk per trade maximum.
- For swing trading (H4–Daily), use 0.5–1.5% risk to account for wider stop losses.
- Never increase lot size to recover losses. Use consistent position sizing every trade.
- The QGA Scalper position calculator auto-computes lot size — enter your account balance and risk % in settings.

Troubleshooting
No signals are appearing on my chart.
- Check that the Minimum Grade setting isn't too high — try setting it to C.
- Ensure at least one tier is enabled (Scalper) or at least one signal type is active (Elite).
- Confirm you are on a supported timeframe: 5m–15m for Scalper, H1–Weekly for Elite.
- If using the Session Filter, check that the current time falls within the active session.
- Try refreshing TradingView or removing and re-adding the indicator.
I see a signal but the Execution Panel shows no data.
- Scroll right on the chart to ensure there is enough visible candle data.
- The panel updates on the close of each candle — wait for the current candle to close.
- Check that the panel display is enabled in indicator settings.
High-Five shows FAIL — should I still take the trade?
- A High-Five FAIL means at least one of the 5 pre-filters did not pass (EMA, RSI, Stoch, Volume, or Spread).
- Signals can still fire on a FAIL but the High-Five component scores 0 points, lowering the overall grade.
- For best results, only trade signals where High-Five shows OK.
The indicator is not visible in TradingView's Invite-Only scripts.
- Confirm your subscription is active at quantumgradea.com.
- Make sure your TradingView username was submitted correctly during registration.
